HLB Kidsons and Baker Tilly have merged to create the eighth largest accountancy firm in the UK with fees exceeding £150m.
The firm will operate under the Baker Tilly brand with more than 30 offices across the country including an office in Newcastle.
Brian Johnson, managing partner in Newcastle, said: "We are very excited and looking forward to the opportunities that the merger presents.''
