AN evening of award-winning theatre will take place in east Cleveland later this month.
Saltburn 53 Drama Group is fresh from its success in the town's drama festival, which attracts entries from across the North-East.
The group's version of The Dark Lady of the Sonnets, by George Bernard Shaw, won best production, best actor and most effective staging.
To celebrate, it is providing an evening of entertainment at the town's community theatre on Saturday, April 20, to show off its talent.
The group's youth section will perform By Any Other Name, by Djenane Watkins, which was commended for individual performances.
This will be followed by a chance to listen to an interpretation of the Elizabethan period in music and verse, by artists from Saltburn.
Doors open at 7pm, with curtain-up at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £4, or £3 for concessions, and are available at King's Newsagents, in Saltburn, Saltburn Library and at the door.
