HOLIDAYMAKERS are being urged to leave unwanted foreign currency at an east Cleveland store to help raise funds for charity.
Redcar Lifeboat Station celebrates its 200th anniversary later this year and it is also the bicentenary of the Zetland, the oldest lifeboat in the world.
Safeway, in Redcar, has undergone a major renovation and, as part of its reopening celebrations, plans to have a fun day at the store on April 13.
People are invited to join in events and leave unwanted foreign currency to be changed into sterling.
The charity relies entirely on voluntary donations to fund its stations.
