A website has been launched to help promote the Yorkshire Dales.
Interactive Ordnance Survey maps and details of events, walks and attractions can all be found at www.destinationdales.org
Andrew Osborn, spokes-man for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, said: "The new website will play a vital role helping anyone planning a visit to the national park to find out more about the area's unique environment, and what it has to offer.
"Using the latest technology, the public can now plan their day, find out more about a particular area or event and get the latest information on what is happening and when it is happening, without even having to leave their armchair.''
The new site is also linked to the www.yorkshiredales. org.uk website.
"We will continue to market the www.yorkshire-dales.org.uk to web users who want to know about the work of the authority," said Mr Osborne.
"But, by developing www.destinationdales.org, we will be able to direct potential visitors straight to the visitor information so many are after."
