EURO MP Stephen Hughes opened a Darlington school's new computer suite to mark Europe Day yesterday.
St Augustine's Primary School, in Beechwood Avenue, now has 17 computers in a dedicated room, which are all linked to each other and to the Internet.
Mr Hughes opened the suite with the help of pupils.
Headteacher, Catherine Crawford, said: "It has opened up a new way of working for all our teachers and pupils."
