NERVOUS drivers hoping to improve their road skills can enrol on a new course in Darlington.
Darlington Advanced Motorists, affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motoring, runs regular safe driving courses for anyone wanting to improve their ability behind the wheel.
The institute, which has more than 200 groups across the UK and more than 110,000 members, has also launched an award to recognise the efforts of people who have worked to improve the safety of young drivers and motorcyclists.
Through the Dominic Fox award, the institute hopes to recognise and encourage the work of people dedicated to improvements in road safety.
