CUMMINS Engines Company believes companies can reap benefits from investing in foreign language tuition.
A group of employees recently started lessons in Italian at Hummersknott School and Language College, in Darlington.
Stuart Proctor, of Cummins, said: "The employees have benefited greatly from this tuition, as has our company.
"We are now in a better position to communicate with our Italian associates.
