COACHING: Consett Juniors FC are inviting people to a coaching session on Sunday, May 19 (1.30pm-3pm) at Belle Vue playing fields, aged seven to ten years (school years 3,4,5 and 6 in September 2002).

TRAINING: Sunderland Football in the Community and Wear Valley District Council have combined to set-up training sessions for children. The sessions will be taking place at three different venues and the times are as follows: St Helens Community Field - every Monday between 6-7.30 for 11-16-year-olds and 7.30-8.30 for over 16s (no fee).

Auckland Youth and Community Centre - every Wednesday between 6-7pm for 11-16-year-olds (cost 50p). There will also be Saturday sessions for girls between 10-11am and 11-16-year-olds can go between 11-12.30 (cost 50p).

Henknowle Community Football field - Every Friday between 6-7.30pm for 11-16-year-olds and over 16s can go at 7.30pm for an hour.

There is also going to be a five-a-side League at the Auckland Youth and Community Centre venue starting on June 11.

Matches will take place on a Tuesday and awards will be presented to the winning side at the Stadium of Light. Teams from ages 11 through to 18 are allowed to enter.
