Scarborough and District Council for Voluntary Service is to receive £130,000 over three years from the Government's Time Limited Development Fund.
The money will be used to recruit young volunteers to work with the Citizens Advice Bureau and youth organisations, the DIY Collective and the Festival of Youth Arts.
It will also be used to work with other organisations, break down barriers to volunteering and creating volunteering opportunities.
