A NEW arts forum has been established in Derwentside, County Durham.
The inaugural meeting was attended by more than 30 people representing arts groups, Derwentside District Council, Dewentside Community Voluntary Services and funding bodies. A steering group will now be formed to examine ways to access more arts funding for the former coal-mining and steel-working area.
