Enthusiastic volunteers bent their backs at the weekend to clear up a stretch of beach.
Residents of Saltburn undertook a litter-pick, sweeping up what the tide and human visitors have deposited. Members of the Saltburn 500 Club and surfers have adopted a stretch of the foreshore to keep clean. In a previous sweep, residents collected 200kg of rubbish.
