TWO dedicated shop staff have celebrated 30 years service at a Darlington store.
Barbara Weeks, 58, and Judith Abbott, 56, both sales assistants have worked for Boyes in Darlington's Blackwellgate, since 1972.
Both women received a long service award at a special dinner with the directors of the Scarborough-based chain.
Store manager Kevin Woods, said: "Barbara has worked on every department in the store. To find her you just have to listen for the laughter.
"Judith originally worked in the kitchens when we had a canteen, but now works on the carpet department. She is such a friendly person".
