A SHERIFF'S squad car will patrol the streets of Middlesbrough next week as part of the police Dealer a Day initiative.
The 1992 Ford Crown Victoria will tow the Crimestoppers trailer in a bid to persuade people to provide information on drug dealers.
Inspector Gary Gamesby said: "We are hoping this unusual car will grab everyone's attention wherever it goes, and generate more calls from residents on the estates which are plagued by drug dealing activity in their communities."
