POLICE have named the man who died of a suspected drug overdose after collapsing in a North-East nightclub at the weekend.
Thomas Geary, a 44-year-old father-of-three, lived in Sherburn, near Durham City.
Detectives were yesterday speaking to staff at Tall Trees, in Yarm, near Stockton, where he collapsed in the early hours of Sunday. Inquiries are continuing.
Two men from Durham, one aged 25 and the other 18, were arrested and have been released pending toxicology and forensic results.
