YOUNGSTERS have praised the training schemes in which they are taking part.
The endorsement came in a survey of trainees on Modern Apprenticeships run by Durham Business Club.
Their comments follow the club's positive assessment under the Investors in People standard.
Partly funded through the Learning and Skills Council, the privately-run club offers Modern Apprenticeships in the Durham and Chester-le-Street areas.
The survey involved students on hairdressing, business administration, customer service and accounting programmes.
Susan Matthews, director of work-based learning, said: "Staff and directors of the club have been overwhelmed by the positive response."
John Atkinson, chairman of the board of directors, said: "We were over the moon with the report from the Investors in People assessor. The results of this survey are more great recognition of the work the staff and tutors put in and we are very proud of them.
