A young boy was taken to hospital in Whitby on Sunday night after he was stung by a poisonous fish.
The 12-year-old, from Chester, was playing in the sea near the west pier when he was stung by a weaver fish.
Whitby coastguard and paramedics were called to the scene, but the youngster's condition was not serious.
