YOUNGSTERS can experience all the fun of the fair in a series of events held across the region this month.
The Showmen's Guild of Great Britain is holding traditional fairs to mark National Funfair Week.
Travelling fairs visit Barnard Castle truck show, County Durham, from August 24 to 26, and the Jubilee Fields Butterwick Horse Show, in Shildon, County Durham, on August 25.
On Tyneside, fairs will be at Spanish City fair in Whitley Bay, from Friday to Monday, August 26, the Asian Mela in Newcastle, August 24 to 26, and Gosforth Racecourse, Newcastle, on August 26.
