Two 12-year-old schoolboys have appeared in court charged in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl.
One boy was accused of rape and indecent assault of the girl at his home in Barnard Castle, County Durham, on April 12 and the other boy with aiding and abetting rape.
They were remanded on bail at Teesside Crown Court until next month by Judge Michael Taylor.
