CLEARANCE work is complete at a former garage and pub site which is being transformed into a residential development.
Barratt site manager Rob Scarce and his team have moved on to the site, in Layerthrope, York, to begin construction work on Merchants Gate.
The development will see the creation of 64 luxury apartments - and more than a third of them have already been sold before a brick has been laid.
