STAFF at a building society are appealing to customers to help raise funds for starving people in Africa.
The Northallerton and Bedale branches of Skipton Building Society are asking customers to make donations to Y Care International's Southern Africa Food Crisis Appeal when they visit.
Since the appeal was launched in mid-July, customers of the society around the country have raised almost £2,000.
