A PET superstore group is searching the North-East for its Pick of the Pooches competition.
Dog owners in Darlington and Stockton are being invited to enter their pet in the nationwide competition taking place on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8.
Dogs should be taken to either of two Pets at Home stores, located at Unit 8, in the Darlington Retail Park, Yarm Road, or to Teeside Park Drive in Thornaby, Stockton.
Entry is free, and prizes include a large, framed photograph of the dog and Pets at Home vouchers.
The winning entry will be entered into the grand final, where prizes include a year's supply of dog food and £100 worth of vouchers.
