With the Anchor Inn playing with just ten men Brotton had a clear advantage and won 4-3.

Within 15 minutes Brotton took the lead when a good cross was flicked in by Brown. Anchor defended well however and kept the score down until 10 minutes before half time when a well converted penalty by Ward gave Brotton their second goal. It was looking as if this would be the half time score but with minutes to go a surprise break caught Brotton unawares and Anchor pulled a goal back. Brotton then had a man sent off paving the way for a very even second half. A well worked passing move between Brown, Solomon and Ward led to a volleyed goal from Brown, increasing the home side's lead. For the next 30 minutes Anchor pulled a goal back. Anchor had numerous chances and were unlucky not to find the equaliser, however, with 15 minutes remaining, Ward found a way through the Anchor defence to slide the ball past the keeper for his second and Brotton's fourth. The visitors scored a fine headed goal to make the score 4-3.

Grangetown made it three wins out of three when they entertained Goldsborough. However it was the visitors who took an early lead when a defensive mistake allowed Dent through to score from the edge of the box. Grangetown settled into the game and ten minutes later James found the equaliser with a good volley over the keeper.

Goldsborough had the chance to take the lead again in the 30th minute when they were awarded a penalty, unfortunately the shot went well wide of the post and the score remained level to the break. In the second half the game was played end to end with the visitors missing another chance when the ball hit the cross bar. With 15 minutes to go Grangetown finally clinched the points with a scrambled goal into the bottom of the net.

Lingdale Utd travelled to Great Ayton and shocked the home side with an early strike on two minutes when Cattermole broke through a static Ayton defence to give the visitors an early lead. Ayton, with a changed side due to cricket commitments, settled after the first 15 minutes and began to string a number of passes together. This was rewarded on 28 minutes when a newt pass from Bushby put Ripley in sight of goal to score from an acute angle past keeper Gibson.

Ayton took the lead when Bushby turned his marker, only to be brought down for a penalty, Leng neatly scoring from the spot.

With Gawthorpe and Ford sound in defence, Ayton looked to be heading for a comfortable win when Ripley finished an excellent passing move between Ford and Long to increase their lead. Lingdale's renewed effort played off when a lively Isleton forced his way through the Ayton defence to slide the ball home. The game became end to end with Ayton hitting the post and shots narrowly missing the net. For the second week running Ayton conceded a two goal lead when Lingdale snatched a late equaliser, Hololob finding the net.

Lingdale Tavern meanwhile were at home to Whitby Fishermans. Early pressure from Whitby gave them the lead after nine minutes when a shot from Graham found the bottom corner of the net. In the 22nd minute Brown handled on the line and Anderson gave Whitby their second goal when he successfully converted the resulting penalty. After a skirmish in the 25th minute both sides had a player sent off and while the teams settled there were no more goals in the first half. Lingdale had a lot of the early pressure in the second half but couldn't capitalise until the 75th minute when a good build up by Breckon and Darcy led to a well taken goal from Calvert. The last 15 minutes was all Lingdale but some good saves by Harland in the Whitby goal kept the score at 1-2.

Boosbeck United notched up their third win when they travelled to Highland Laddie. The Boosbeck defence held firm until Combellack jinxed into the box and slotted home in the 15th minute. Laddie continued to control the game, playing some nice football but failing to increase their lead. Then after a good ten minute spell Boosbeck scored a breakaway goal through Clapton, then took complete control, a second goal coming on 40 minutes after a mix up in the Laddie defence, Johnson neatly slotting home. Boosbeck began the second half still very strong but the Laddie weathered the storm and then began to have chance after chance, cleared off the line and come back off the post. Boosbeck still posed the occasional threat with Bennett in the Laddie goal making several good stops. The score remained at 1-2 giving Boosbeck the three points.
