POLICE are appealing for information after a car was stolen from a driveway in Teesdale.

The blue Ford Fiesta, registration K548 GWE, was taken in the early hours of Sunday, from Luke Lane, Butterknowle. Anyone with information is asked to contact Barnard Castle police, on (01833) 637328.

FARM ACCESS: Darlington Borough Council has received a planning application from Springfield Farm, in Croft Road, Darlington, to create a new vehicle access and an associated track.

GUIDED WALK: A guided walk around Faverdale is being held on Saturday September 14. It will explore ancient tracks, railway history and the new estates. Meet on the corner of Faverdale and West Auckland Roads at 2pm. The walk costs £2 and £1 for children and concessions.
