Consett suffered a 4-3 defeat when they met New Hartley.
Daniel Grey, Chris Huggin and Andy Green were on target for the Steelmen, while for New Hartley Daniel Reece and Daniel Hope both scored twice.
The goals flowed when Walker Central entertained Cleveland Hall and finished 7-0 in front. Scott McDonald and Ben Young each found a brace of goals for Walker Central and Paul Mills and Kevin Chilvers also found the net. An own goal did not help the cause of Cleveland Hall.
There were only three goals when Redheugh met West Denton. The Reds came out on top when Chris Laws and Steven Brown were on target.
