ARSON ATTACK: Police have arrested four people after a car was set on fire in the early hours of Saturday. The Renault Clio was left burnt out following the attack, opposite the Masonic Hall, on North Green, Staindrop. The four arrested are still helping police with their inquiries. PUBWATCH DISCOS: There will be discos held at Barnard Castle Cricket Club tomorrow, between 6.30pm and on Thursday, between 7pm and 10pm. The discos are part of Barnard Castle Police's Pubwatch scheme. Tomorrow's event is for under 11s and Thursday's disco is for children aged between 11 and 16.
