POLICE have named the man who died in a car crash as 20-year-old John McClean.
Mr McClean, from Whinchat Tail, Guisborough, east Cleveland, was killed on Wednesday night when the car he was travelling in was involved in a collision with a VW Polo on the A171 road.
The two women occupants of the Polo were seriously injured.
A 50-year-old was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton, where she was said to be stable.
The other was taken to Middlesbrough General Hospital, where she was last night described as poorly but stable.
