Former Radio Cleveland presenter Alan Wright is launching a column in The Northern Echo.
The radio star, who worked at the station for almost 30 years until last month, is writing for The Northern Echo's website, www.thisisthenortheast. co.uk. The first column appears today and each Wednesday.
He will write about the life and culture of the North-East.
Alan is known for his humour and sharp observations, and his columns will provide an entertaining, funny and sometimes moving view of life and people across the region.
