A MOTHER admitted in court yesterday that she regularly supplied heroin to customers who turned out to be undercover police officers.

Lynda Muir, 44, sold heroin 11 times to a male officer and once to a woman PC who were part of a widespread operation against drugs in Hartlepool.

She supplied them virtually daily with heroin in January and February, said Christine Egerton, prosecuting.

At Teesside Crown Court, Muir of Church Street, Hartlepool, admitted 12 charges of supplying the Class A drug heroin to police officers between January 8 and March 22, two of possession of heroin February and of abstracting electricity between January 1 and April 17.

She was remanded to prison for social inquiry reports before sentence.
