A NEWTON Aycliffe school is hoping to establish an art club for young people, but is short of craft materials.
The club at Greenfield Community and Arts College is due to start in January.
Teachers are appealing for any unwanted items, including buttons, glass jars, paints, string and wool.
The art club will be open to eight to 16-year-olds in the Sedgefield borough area.
Anyone wanting to donate items to the club is asked to contact the school on (01325) 307147 or 379048.
