Willington Burn lost their top spot in the dominoes section when the visiting second placed, Hunwick Joiners Arms only dropped one point. This moved the Joiners to the top, whilst Willington Cottles, who only dropped one point at Willington Black Horse A, moved into second place two points behind the leaders and one ahead of the Burn.

The darts section is dominated by the unbeaten Willington Club A, who lead by four points and have a match in hand. Second place is shared by Sunnybrow Brown Trout and Willington Club A.

Tow Law Cup

Isecond semi-final, Lanchester King's Head only needed to go to one dominoes double game in order to beat the visiting Hamilton Row Black Horse by 9-3. On the pool table only Barry Sims and Steve Wilkie took points for the Horse, whilst Harry Wales, Graham Fairish, Graeme Thompson and Davey Wales moved the King's ahead.

Things got even worse at dominoes for the Horse as only Barry Sims managed to take a point, whilst Nigel Sands, Harry Wales, Ronnie Minto and Graeme Thompson were successful fort the King's. The King's then only needed one more point to gain a final spot and they achieved this when Rob Day and Graeme Thompson beat Pat Elliott and Barry Sims in the first dominoes doubles.

Lanchester King's Head will now meet Tow Law New Market B in the Final on Tuesday, 30 September at a venue to be arranged.
