POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 30-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in east Cleveland, at 11.20pm on Thursday.
He suffered head injuries for which he received hospital treatment before being discharged. Police are particularly keen to speak to a man who helped the victim just after the incident.
Police said the assault, at the junction of Skelton High Street and Marske Lane, Skelton, appeared to be connected to an earlier incident in the Royal George public house.
