The funeral of a brother and sister killed in a tragic accident on the A19 will be held tomorrow.
Karl Bowes, 30, and Kelly McKie, 19, were returning from a 21st birthday party at Tall Trees, Yarm, when the Fiat they were travelling in drove the wrong way up the southbound carriageway of the A19 Tees flyover when it was closed for repairs. They died instantly when the car smashed into barriers.
Police are still anxious to trace witnesses to the incident, which took place at 2.45am on Sunday October 27. Anyone with any information is asked to contact (01642) 326326.
