FIREFIGHTERS spent nearly four hours tackling a blaze at an unoccupied house in Hartlepool after it was targeted by arsonists.
About 20 firefighters tackled the fire at West View Road, at 6.30pm, on Tuesday.
The upper floor of the house collapsed shortly after firefighters arrived and an adjoining property also caught fire.
The fire is being treated as malicious.
