RESIDENTS of Chester-le-Street can have their trees collected on Tuesday, from Pelton Community Centre, between 9am and 11.30am, or from St Benet's Way, Ouston, between 1pm and 3.30pm.
Collections will be taken next Wednesday, from Sacriston Community Centre, between 9am and 11.30am, and from The Falcon car park, South Pelaw, between 1pm and 3.30pm.
On January 9, there will be collections from the Dunn Cow car park, Bournmoor, between 9am and 11.30am, and Lumley Millennium Green, between 1pm and 3.30pm.
Christmas trees will be collected on January 11 from the Riverside North Car Park, between 9am and 11.30am, and Hermitage Comprehensive School, between 1pm and 3.30pm.
They can also be taken to Hett Hills Waste Centre.
Chester-le-Street and Durham residents can put plain cards into kerbside paper collections.
They can also take cards to Tesco stores between January 6 and February 2
