A WOMAN was freed from her car by firefighters after it went in to a ditch.
Her Renault Clio skidded on black ice and rolled off A689 Stockton Road, in Hartlepool, at 9am on Saturday.
Firefighters forced the doors and the woman was helped out on a spine board and taken to Hartlepool University Hospital.
