BIG-HEADED Raymond Casling could not resist bragging about his successful career to former school pals.

He used the Friends Reunited web site to tell them he was now coining it in - as a drug dealer.

"I'm doing very well. I'm selling a lot of Charlie (cocaine) in Redcar and I've got three sports cars," he wrote. But unfortunately for him, his message was spotted by police.

Det Con Tim Murphy said: "We were already after him when we saw his entry on Friends Reunited.

"We couldn't believe that he would be so stupid, but he couldn't resist boasting about how successful he was."

On Friday, Casling, 24, of Lumley Road, Redcar, was jailed for three years at Teesside Crown Court, after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

He faces an additional six months if he does not pay £5,410 by July under a Drug Trafficking Order.

Casling was ostensibly only earning £45 a week, working in a sea front amusement arcade, while living with his mother.

But he drove a 180mph Mitsubishi 3000 twin turbo, a blue Porsche 911 and a Rover GTi.

"We watched him scorching the tyres off them at £150 a time - not bad for a day job like his," said Det Con Murphy.

When Cleveland Police picked him up he had £400 on the floor of the Mitsubishi and another £1,000 in a locked cupboard at home, Ian Skelt, prosecuting, told the court.

His total benefit from dealing was over £30,000, the court heard.

Det Con Murphy said: "He carries that £30,000 debt until it is paid and our force's Financial Investigation Unit will pursue him for the lot.

"It sends the message, 'What's the point in dealing because we will get you in the end?'."
