A NEW plastering unit opened at Darlington College of Technology on Monday.
Plastering companies from all over the region attended the official opening, which was carried out by college principal Sarah Farley.
Trainee plasterers completing their training with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) will now be able to access the course more locally.
Previously, trainees from the area had to travel to Northumberland to learn their trade.
