FIREFIGHTERS freed two pensioners, trapped in a car which overturned at a junction.
The husband and wife, both aged in their 70s, received minor injuries. They became trapped when their Ford Fiesta flipped over on to its side when negotiating the junction of Park Road and Elwick Road, Hartlepool, at the weekend. They were taken by ambulance to University Hospital of Hartlepool for a precautionary check up.
