EXPERTS will be touring north Durham next month to give residents free tax advice.
The Inland Revenue team from Sunderland will visit Stanley, Consett and Chester-le-Street to offer free tax advice. The team will also give advice on tax credits, self-assessment and PAYE, and there will be a range of leaflets available.
A spokeswoman said: "We realise some people may have difficulty in visiting their own Inland Revenue office, so we are delighted to be able to take our service out to them."
The team is at Stanley JobCentre on Thursday, February 6, from 10am to 1pm; Consett JobCentre on Friday, February 7, from 10am to 1pm; and Chester-le-Street JobCentre on Tuesday, February 11, from 10am to 1pm.
