CHARITIES and community organisations are being offered free television publicity.
Tyne Tees Television will publicise specific services, events or volunteer appeals in its new Community Link announcements.
The mini-programmes are shown at 3.15pm each weekday and have extra running time so reports can include the wide range of activities.
Groups across the North- East and North Yorkshire have already been featured in Community Link, such as Butterwick Hospice appealing for volunteers, Alcoholics Anonymous publicising its helpline and Northumberland theatre group Valley Players seeking recruits.
Groups wanting to feature in the programme need to complete an application form, available from Community Link, Tyne Tees Television, PO Box 2BH, Newcastle, NE99 2BH.
