DEMAND for cassette tapes which are no longer available will be met when local folk duo Nebula launches a double CD, Now and Then, at the George Hotel folk club at Piercebridge on Monday evening.

Roly Hindmarch and Dave Hutchinson have been part of the folk scene in the area for many years and songs from their two cassettes, Rangers for a Plack and Another Road are re-mastered for the 22 tracks on the Then CD.

Twenty tracks of old favourites and new songs, recorded live over the past year at bookings ranging from a concert at Darlington Arts Centre to the Wensleydale festival, form the Now CD.

The recordings have been produced by Frank Holmes, described by Roly Hindmarch as "sound engineer and superman on the computer".

The double CD costs £10 and the launch begins at 8pm.
