Post Boy 3 v 1 DGSOB

After an even first 25 minutes Post Boy's Paul Robson broke the deadlock ending Old Boys' gritty resistance. Midway through the second half Darren Hewitson increased the lead from the penalty spot by Old Boys piled on the pressure and were rewarded when Stuart Alderson scored with a thumping header. Ian Walton then produced a string of fine saves to maintain his side's lead while at the other end his team mates hit the bat on three occasions before Paul Robson nicked a third at the death as Old Boys pushed up seeing an equaliser.

Shuttle and Loom 2 v 2 Albion (aet)

Shuttle took the lead midway through the first half courtesy of Mark Jenkinson a lead which they held until the hour mark when John Banks levelled to take the tie into extra time. Shuttle continued to have slightly the better of the exchanges and in the first period Mark Jenkinson restored their lead. Albion drew level early in the second period when Gary Mitchell forced the ball home in a goalmouth scramble and take the tie to a penalty shoot out.

Shuttle unfortunately missed their third penalty and Albion held their nerve to convert all five of theirs and so progress to the semi-final with a 5-4 penalty advantage.

Black & Decker 3 v 0 Killinghall Arms

Killinghall were by no means overawed by their Durham Alliance \League opponents but Decker dominated the first 20 minutes and having gone ahead after six minutes, added a second after half an hour. Killie then missed a golden opportunity to get back into the game from the penalty spot before Decker sealed victory with a third after 70 minutes.
