LITTER louts will be targeted again today as a campaign to clean up the streets presses ahead.
Sixteen people have been given £50 on-the-spot fines for litter offences on the last two Saturdays by plain clothes wardens in Darlington.
The enforcement teams will be out again this weekend to continue the initiative, which is backed by The Northern Echo.
Darlington Borough Council leader Councillor John Williams said: "We have made real progress in the two months since the campaign started."
