THE computing department of a Teesside college is planning a project to raise awareness and basic skills in the use of electronic trading over the Internet.
Funded by the Learning and Skills Council, the project, at Redcar and Cleveland College, will provide computer equipment, broadband connections and training in web design and e-commerce for 28 organisations.
About two hours a week of teaching and learning will take place over the Internet using video-conferencing technology.
