THE new landlords at a Tudhoe pub are aiming to return it to its former glory.
Carole (known locally as Caz) and Trevor Howells have recently taken over the tenancy of the Black Horse pub in the village, and have brought with them several ideas to boost trade.
The couple are in the process of redecorating the Pubmaster-owned pub to give it a more modern look.
Alongside the redecoration plan, they plan to separate the pub into four areas to cater for all of their customers.
There is a bar area and lounge, where traditional pub food is served, and a beer garden.
In March, the Four Corners Restaurant will open.
Mrs Howells has lived in Tudhoe for 23 years and the Black Horse used to be her local pub.
