A DEVELOPMENT manager responsible for involving more pupils in school sport has been appointed.
Alison Raw has been given the post of partnership development manager by Darlington Borough Council.
She will be responsible for developing plans to get pupils across the borough more actively involved in sport and ensuring schools offer a wide range of activities to suit all tastes.
Alison has undertaken a review of sporting facilities currently available. The results of the review will form part of a new three-year development plan for sport in participating schools.
