AIRPORT ground handling company Groundstar Ltd has won £600,000 of business.
The Newcastle Airport-based organisation has signed up international airline operators SN Brussels and LTE.
SN Brussels, which code shares with British Airways on the Newcastle to Brussels route, has brought in Groundstar to improve its passenger check-in and baggage handling services at Newcastle Airport.
Groundstar will handle about 25 scheduled flights per week between Newcastle and Brussels.
Meanwhile, Spanish charter carrier LTE has awarded Groundstar a contract to provide passenger services at Manchester and full ground handling services at Birmingham, Newcastle and London Stansted airports.
Groundstar will service LTE's fleet of Boeing 757s and Airbus 8320s on its year-round programme of charter flights to a range of European destinations.
