Saturday's game brought us another three points, even if the performance wasn't one of our best compared to recent weeks.

I thought Torquay played some good football and will be in the shake-up come the end of the season. On behalf of all the players I would like to thank everyone who helped in the clearing of the pitch on Friday. I am told the fans, youth players, staff and even the Mayor helped to get the match on.The pitch was in perfect condition and proves what a good job our groundsman Davy Brown and the lads do on it every day. It just goes to show what can be achieved if you want a football match on badly enough - I find it hard to believe that Boro's game was called off on Friday. Maybe this had more to do with bad form and injuries to key players than to the snow on the pitch, but we will never know.

On the baby front the sleepless nights haven't been as bad as I expected due to Nicki feeding Oliver and letting me sleep as much as possible. We have also been getting a lot of help from our daughter Abbi who has been terrific - keep up the good work girls.
