AN experienced health worker is getting to grips with his new job as a finance director.
Accountant Joe Corrigan recently started work as director of finance for Easington Primary Care Trust (PCT).
He was formerly general manager of Whitley Bay Primary Care Group and assistant director of finance and performance management at North Tyneside PCT.
In his new role, he is responsible for providing financial advice to the PCT executive, board and executive committee, to ensure proper management of funds.
He said: "I hope that my breadth of experience will contribute to making a difference for the people of Easington."
