THE assistant principal of Stockton Sixth Form College is off to the French Alps this month to give lessons to young skiers.
Dr David Dodds, who is also head of physics, has been invited during half term to give physics, maths and science lessons to the nation's top skiers so they do not miss out on their education.
Team Excel Europe organises the ski-training break, which is combined with tutoring in main subjects.
Dr Dodds said: "We will be giving lessons to students, who will include young people representing Britain in skiing championships.
"It will certainly be an unusual environment for me, I am looking forward to it."
